STEWART O’NAN will introduce the softcover edition of The Odds: A Love Story, an honest, beautiful, heartbreaking story of a man and woman standing at the precipice of divorce and bankruptcy, trying to determine whether the difficulty of the unknown outweighs the pain of the familiar. Taking their life-savings of $40,000 they go to Niagara Falls as a sort-of second honeymoon. During the day they do touristy things, but at night they gamble with the last of their money, hoping to rekindle their love and to start anew.
