Antioch Writers Workshop invites you to attend their free mini-seminar in celebration of National Poetry Month. Poems from Robert Browning to Ai to Natasha Tretheway will be read. The session’s focus will be FROM ANOTHER VOICE: Reading and Writing the Persona Poem, using images, ads, and our own histories to create poems that speak from voices that aren’t our own.

The presenter will be LORI ANNE GRAVLEY. Many of her poems have been published online and in print in a number of journals, in Slipstream, SOFTBLOW, and Shooter Literary. She has been nominated for Pushcart and Best New Poets and has taught poetry and writing throughout the United States. She is the Community Voices radio producer on WYSO.org where you can hear her interviews with poets and her recordings of poems.
